The demands from Moscow “include Ultimaten that Ukraine withdraws from its own territory to achieve an ceasefire, as well as other unacceptable and non -constructive conditions,” says an insider from the environment of the Ukrainian delegation of the Reuters news agency. “Ukraine is ready for a real ceasefire and another authentic peace process without a preconditions,” he adds. It was the first direct talks of the warring parties since 2022.

Ukraine: Russians want to get rid of the USA

Ukraine has accused Russia of wanting to attend the United States in the first direct talks of both warring parties for three years. “The Russians try to get rid of the Americans by all means,” said a government employee on Friday. Perhaps the Russians did not want to “experience a third party how the process is disturbed,” speculated the Ukrainian representative – and thus accused the accusation that the Russian side could block progress in the talks.

The Ukrainian delegation wants to talk about a possible meeting between the Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj and Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin at the talks. A meeting of the two heads of state “will be on the agenda of the Ukrainian delegation,” it said from Ukrainian diplomatic circles.
