ORF General Director Roland Weißmann and Minister of Culture Andreas Babler (SPÖ) personally received the new star at the airport, and JJS former “Starmania” colleague Mert Cosmus was also released with balloons and “Welcome Home” sign at the airport. Last but not least, JJ’s family, who had taken back a previous plane after the legendary night of Basel, waited for the star of the moment. “Thank you for the whole love and support. Thank you very much for believing it!” JJ thanked the fans, gave dozens of autographs, were ready for photos and presented the cheering crowd the ESC trophy.
