The man who, according to a psychiatric report was not accountable, is therefore accommodated in a forensic-therapeutic facility. The public prosecutor had applied for unconditional and permanent instruction. The judgment is final.
Last year, the man himself chose the police’s emergency call on the evening of October 22nd and said that two unknown and armed robbers had entered his apartment with his mother during dinner and had asked for money. One of the two threatened him with a pistol, while the other “stabbed” his mother sitting at the table without warning with the knife lying around. However, he managed to drive away the attackers with pepper spray.

For the woman – she lived in Bavaria at the time and had visited her son – all help came too late. The head was almost completely separated from the fuselage in the sudden attack. She died of enormous blood loss. The search for the supposed perpetrators resulted in a large -scale deployment of the police including roadblocks with vehicle controls. Two days later, the investigators arrested the 32-year-old today.
The accused vehemently denies allegations
The investigators thought his version was incomprehensible and also incompatible with the trace position at the scene. “She is clearly refuted by evidence,” said the prosecutor in her opening plea on Wednesday. The accused has previously vehemently denied the allegations – and also remained in court in his version of the unknown murderers. He worked at a petrol station and often handled there with a lot of money. “Maybe who saw that and wanted to see me.” The fact that the kitchen knife with a blade length of 21 centimeters – he had only bought it shortly before the crime – was a “dramatic coincidence”.

According to a neuropsychiatric report, the 32-year-old suffers from paranoid schizophrenia. According to the prosecutor, it is likely to commit further serious crimes under the influence of his illness in the foreseeable future. “He is unable to recognize the wrong of his act.” Therefore, a murder could not be accused of criminal law. That is why the jurors decide on an indefinite briefing. In the emergency call of the man now played in court, he seemed relatively caught.
Voices, hallucinations, delusion of persecution
In January 2022, he was inpatient in psychiatric treatment for two weeks. At the time, he told the doctors in the clinic that he heard and reported commenting and commanding voices of persecution and hallucinations – he saw scorpions on the ground. A fact that he first denied in court and then tried to play down consistently. Incidentally, the medication that was prescribed for treatment at the time, he quickly resolved: “Because I was fine.” As some witnesses in front of the police, the 32-year-old is said to have been a “a bit strange” after separating from his girlfriend.

In the room there was also a possible religious component in the clinical picture.
