A mobile library, an official building, a parking garage: the woodwood is extremely diverse. The best wooden buildings in Upper Austria were recently brought in front of the curtain at the presentation of the Upper Austrian timber construction award. This has been awarded for the tenth time. 140 projects had applied for this. The timber construction award is awarded by the state, the Building Innovation Cluster of the Biz-Up location agency, the proholz initiative, the state guild Holzbau Upper Austria and the specialist group of the wood industry in Upper Austria.

The winners: “Living in the treeion” in Freistadt (in the residential buildings category); the “House in the Stadel” in Thalling in the municipality of Dorf an der Pram (conversions, additions, renovations); The Zell am Pettenfirst (category of public buildings), the wooden parking house of the boiler manufacturer Hargassner (commercial buildings); the cattle stable on the Toblerhof in Lambach (agricultural buildings); “House of the Associations” of the municipality of Neumarkt am Wallersee (category out of the country), the “Kagerer Stadel” in Auberg (special price building culture exchange through community), Mobib – Mobile Library in cooperation between the municipalities Hinterstoder and Klaus/Steyrling (special price Prize Prize Prize); Tiny Houses by Wolf Systembau (Audience Award Residential Construction).
