The most recent council meeting in the abbey town ended with a verbal exchange of blows over the political and human style in the municipal parliament. The focus of the criticism was – not for the first time – Vice Mayor Christian Lamprecht from the FP.
Previously, the executive mayor Dagmar Fetz-Lugmayr (VP) had opened the meeting with a sad message: Mayor Gerhard Obernberger unexpectedly had to undergo difficult surgery. She took over the management of the official business again. Obernberger survived the first few days well and was on the way of improvement. She has already called him. Fetz-Lugmayr also thanked for the “strong cohesion, which can now be felt in Kremsmünster”.
- Commentary on the topic: Borderline
Less thanks, but the greater outrage followed at the end of the meeting. Community board member Ewald Steiner (SP) denounced Lamprecht’s verbal derailments. At the last council meeting before Christmas, he said in the knowledge of the serious illness of Obernberger: “You never have been long anyway.” Steiner now asked Lamprecht not to laugh about it, but: “Please apologize for it, then the whole thing should be forgotten again.”
Lamprecht said exactly on December 12th in the course of an attack against the mayor, which he accused of from behind in connection with the music home of a difficult foul: “Speaks for your style, but for too long you have anyway.”
