The spokeswoman for the State Court for Criminal Matters Vienna, Christina Salzborn, confirmed a corresponding media report on Friday afternoon. In both cases, however, no decision had been made. The also convicted ex-finance minister Karl-Heinz Grasser has not yet applied for detention. Ex-FPÖ general secretary Meischberger therefore argues that he is compatible with the enforcement for medical reasons.

Infidelity and gift acceptance

Grasser was sentenced to four years in prison in the Buwog process and in the Causa Terminal Tower Linz for infidelity and gift acceptance by civil servants, Meischberger for 3.5 years. Former lobbyist Peter Hochegger was sentenced to 3 years – 2 years of age.
