After the premiere last year, the city of Linz also invites you to the “Linz Security Day” again this year. Under the motto “Together for a safe Linz”, visitors can experience the work of various operational organizations on June 14th – from the Bundesheer to the customs office. For the first time, the event also takes place on the Danube region in addition to the skin area.
Trust in the emergency services
“This day is not only a strong sign of security, but also for trust in those who are in use every day for our protection,” says security city councilor Michael Raml (FP). In times of increasing challenge, according to him, it is crucial to be well prepared and to actively involve the population.
The program ranges from demonstrations to the fat fire simulation of the fire brigade to the police and lectures. At several stations, visitors can also become active themselves – for example, with extinguishing exercise or with advice on fire protection.
The event starts at 11:30 a.m., a overflight of the Federal Army with the helicopter Agusta Bell 212 marks the highlight at 5 p.m. and at the same time the end of the safety day. Admission is free.
