The officials were alerted by the Red Cross on Tuesday morning about an internal emergency and immediately drove to the man’s home address. There they found the 62-year-old, who had suffered respiratory arrest, unconscious in his bed. The officials immediately began resuscitation measures together with the ambulance, which arrived at about the same time.
A police officer’s cardiac massage had an effect: the man’s heart began to beat again. In the meantime, the emergency medical helicopter was instructed by the second officer and his colleague in the rough terrain.
After first aid and stabilization of the man by the Red Cross Redlham and the team of the emergency doctor helicopter, the 62-year-old was brought to the rescue helicopter by the officials and the rescue workers and then flown to the Vöcklabruck clinic.
