Already at the age of eleven, the Braunauer Marlena Marie Grübl was on stage for musical and theater productions. At 15 she stood in front of the camera for her first television role. Despite her passion for the spectacle, Grübl decided to study psychology in Salzburg. But she never let go of the acting. Although Grübl never attended a state acting school, some roles in TV productions could already get hold of. So far, the Innviertlerin was quickly seen in the crime series or in Soko Linz and Soko Vienna.
Behind the camera
Another passion that she has discovered for herself in recent years is to direct. “I love to work with a team to work with people and also take on a leadership position. All combines the role as a director,” says Grübl. Because she already has plenty of experience in front of the camera, she benefits on her job on the other. “I can put myself very well into the actors. I know what’s going on in them,” says the 26-year-old.
