“Continuing education is the most important value in our society”

Underwater welding, department store detective, compact color and style advice, training as a bathing attendant, forklift license in Hungarian: This is just an extract from the revised course program of the WiFi of the Upper Austria Chamber of Commerce (WKOÖ) for the course year 2025/26.

10,000 courses, seminars and courses are offered, 14 percent are new or revised. “More than 103,500 customers visited one of the WiFi houses in the previous year,” said WKOÖ President Doris Hummer on Tuesday at the official presentation of the course book. The complete offer is also available online (wifioOee.at). According to Hummer, the goal is to bring change processes to the companies, from ecologization to applications based on artificial intelligence (AI).
