Daniela (20) from Ostfildern near Stuttgart and Berliner Moritz (19) prevailed on Thursday in the 20th edition of the casting show. Heidi Klum (52) saw the two young models in the live final just ahead of the two Viennese Magdalena (21) and Pierre (22). The third places went to Jannik (22) from Bad Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein and the 19-year-old Zoe from Pulheim near Cologne.
Daniela with the long, platinum blonde hair follows a long series of earlier “top models”. Moritz, on the other hand, is only the second man with the title – because men’s models have only been allowed to participate in “GNTM” since last year. The former winners and the first male winner Jermaine were present in the anniversary finale. They ran together in the studio in Cologne via the catwalk. The winner of season fifth in 2010, Alisar Ailabouni, who grew up in Mattighofen, was also shown on the catwalk. The 36-year-old now lives in New York and is internationally successful as a model.
