Merlin Technology GmbH, an internationally active specialist for air humidification, adiabate cooling and industrial dust binding, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Founded in 1995 by managing director and owner Johann Reisinger, the company based in Tumeltsham has developed from the regional technology business into a globally recognized provider of innovative climate solutions, the company said.
More than 7000 customers
Merlin refers to 7,000 customers in more than 80 countries and locations in Germany, France and the USA. “Our systems not only help to optimize production conditions, but also to use and save resources such as electricity and water more efficiently,” says CEO Johann Reisinger. In particular in the wood, paper, food, automotive and electronics industry, the high-pressure air leveling systems bring lower committee, stable processes and a healthy indoor climate, according to the company. A central principle behind the technology is the circulatory effect of the water used. “We exude water in the air – to save water,” said Johann Reisinger.
What sounds paradoxical is actually a prime example of a prime example of sustainable use of resources: the finely atomized water is not wasted, but evaporated, improve the indoor climate – and finally return to the natural cycle as part of the atmosphere. “This recurring energy is pure sustainability – and actually unique,” says Reisinger.
