With an investment volume of around 6.7 million euros, a new form of living for up to 14 heaviest people is being created in the southern part of house 13 of PEK Steyr. In the listed building, which was built in 1949, after the general renovation from the end of 2026, six people will find a place for their last phase of life with dignity and care in the day hospice and eight people in the inpatient hospice. Previously, this former Rotkreuz house had served as a training center, accommodation and boarding school for the Red Cross sisterhood, then until the middle of last year as a refugee home.
