The CNV made a criminal complaint against a company for possible scam with a lithium project

The National Securities Commission (CNV) criminally denounced atomic 3 SA, a company registered as a supplier of virtual asset services (PSAV).

The National Securities Commission (CNV) Preventively suspended at Atomic 3 of the Crypto Supplier Registry and presented a criminal complaint by fraud suspicions with an alleged lithium exploration project in San Juan.

It should be noted that CNV began an investigation due to various complaints received in the agency, which accounted for a suspicious situation regarding Atomic 3 S.a company registered as Virtual Assets Services Supplier (PSAV).

Different proof measures were made, including information orders to the company and the Ministry of Mining of San Juan. As it transpired, the information collected was concluded that It is not an exploitation of lithium, but an exploration permit to look for lithium.

Additionally, permits are not in the name of society but of a third party. Given this situation and in compliance with the Criminal Procedure Code, more specifically in article 177 on the duties of denouncing public officials, The CNV proceeded to criminally denounce society for possible fraud.

Because atomic 3 is registered in the PSAV registry, under No. 103, in accordance with RG No. 994, its preventive suspension of said registry was proceeded. It is important to highlight that whoever is not registered or who is suspended cannot operate in Argentina.
