This day also rose the steel producer US Streel (+10.2%) and Mercado Libre (+6.6%). In the case of the US company, it benefited from the rise in the prices of raw materials. This week aluminum hit record highs and nickel hit highs in more than a decade. The price spike came on concern that the Ukraine crisis would further exacerbate supply shortages.

The main drops, meanwhile, were Banco Bradesco (-2.7%), Alibaba (-1.3%) and Netflix (-1.1%). For its part, Cedears ETFs recovered gradually. Thus, the ETF that corresponds to the financial sector led the rises with 2.7%, followed by the innovation one with 1.7% and the greatest decrease was for the MSCI Brazil (-1.2%).

On Wall Street, the main indices ended Friday with a second consecutive rise, caused by a technical rebound as well as good macroeconomic indicators, although Ukraine remains in the spotlight.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 2.51%, the Nasdaq Technology Index gained 1.64% and the expanded S&P 500 Index also rose 2.24%, according to preliminary results.
