The Central Bank (BCRA) sold reserves for the fifth consecutive day, ending with a negative result of about US$90 million. The monetary authority sold more than US$270 million since Monday, and accumulated a negative balance of some US$190 million in February. This is the fourth month in a row with a negative result.
Savings or solidarity dollar
The savings dollar or solidarity dollar -retail plus tax- advanced 10 cents to $186.27 on average.
wholesale dollar
The wholesale dollar, which is directly regulated by the BCRA, rose seven cents to $107.45. In the week, the wholesale exchange rate rose 77 cents, the second highest correction of the current year.
“Next week will be short in operating days due to the holidays on Monday and next Tuesday, which is why a concentration of operations is expected in the remaining days, with expectations that the agro-export complex will once again be a protagonist in the market, something that it did not happen in the last week of the month,” said analyst Gustavo Quintana.
Dollar CCL
The dollar “counted with liquid” (CCL) -with the Global 2030 bond- rose 0.2% to $203.38, with which the gap with the official stood at 89.4%.
MEP dollar
At the same time, the MEP or Bolsa dollar -valued with the Global 2030- advanced in the same percentage to $197.19, which leaves a spread of 83.6%.
The blue dollar operates stable this Friday, February 25, 2022, at $210.50, after bouncing from its value in five-week lowsaccording to a survey carried out by Ámbito in the Foreign Exchange Black Market.
Consequently, the spread between the blue dollar and the wholesale exchange rate stands at 96%.
The parallel dollar is consolidated as the most expensive exchange rate in the market, since the CCL closed yesterday for $205.
Beyond everything, the blue dollar completed four consecutive weeks trading above $210, since last January 18 it climbed from $209 to $211.
