Navidia (-6.9%), Paypal (-5.4%), Tesla (-4.5%), and Facebook (-3.8%) are among the main losses, among the most traded papers. On the other hand, the increases of Walmart (+1.8%) and Exxon (+1.2%) stand out. As for the Cedears ETF, the ARKK accumulates the most volume, down to 6.6%.

On Wall Street, the shares of mega-cap growth companies such as Microsoft, Apple and Amazon.com lost between 2.1% and 4.3%, dragging the Nasdaq down 2.2% and the S&P 500 down more than one%.

High-growth stocks, whose valuations will come under pressure from higher bond yields, took the brunt as the benchmark 10-year return hit a three-year high.

What happened was that Fed Governor Lael Brainard said on Tuesday that she expected a combination of interest rate hikes and a rapid liquidation of the Fed’s balance sheet, which led to losses on Wall Street.
