The curiosity that has been revealed now is that in the programs of the United Nations (UN) its officials are recommended to resort to the black currency market when they are in Argentina, according to a document that the organization sent to members.
The newspaper La Nación published that in the first week of May the regional technical workshop on Electric Mobility was held in the country, organized by the UN and attended by officials from 14 countries in the region. The objective was to present the progress that each country made in pursuit of a transition to electric mobility, within the framework of the Readiness program of the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
As is customary in each regional workshop, the UN sent each official a document with information on the routine of the workshops, advice on security and transportation, suggested places to “eat meat” and carry out cultural activities typical of Buenos Aires. The funny thing is that there were also recommendations on “currency and exchange rates”.
