Argentine shares climb up to 9% on Wall Street;  dollar bonds extend rebound

The advance responds to strong earnings forecasts from companies such as Macy’s, while it was confirmed that the US economy contracted in the first quarter, quelling some concerns about aggressive interest rate hikes.

With this impulse, the Argentine papers listed on Wall Street operate with the majority of increases, which reach up to 8.5%, such is the case of Mercado Libre, followed by Edenor (+3.9%) and Despegar (+3 .8%).

Along the same lines as Wall Street, the leading index S&P Merval up 2.4% to 93,506.04 points, against an advance of 3.58% between Monday and Tuesday.

In fixed income, on the other hand, sovereign bonds in dollars operate with rises of up to 1.6%, leadership by the Bonar 2038, followed by the Bonar 2029 (+1.5%) and Bonar 2030 (+1.1%), seeking to recover ground after the sharp declines of recent weeks. The only casualty responds to Overall 2041 (-1.4%).

With everything, country risk measured by the JP.Morgan operated unchanged at 1,918 basis points.
