In the next step of his historic career, the 59-year-old “Wolf of Wall Street” is partnering with an eSports organization to host a Valorant tournament for college gamers. And it appears to be the start of a new long-term investment in an explosively popular sector.
Brag House, an eSports platform founded by CEO Lavell Juan to tap into the rapidly expanding competitive casual college gaming market, has partnered with Belfort to launch The Wolf Bowl. It is a group-based Valorant tournament that aims to offer a great overall championship for college students who want to represent their school on the national stage.
What is Brag House
Although Brag House is barely two years old, its unique position in the market has already attracted the support of McDonald’s and Coca-Cola. The latter partnered with the company in 2021 to host a tailgate party at a gaming event at the University of Dallas in Texas, home to a renowned varsity eSports team.
Now, Belfort wants to invest his time, experience and contacts in the company and take Brag House to the next level. “Whenever I’m considering whether to get involved, the only question is: what can I bring to the table? Is it a good match? Sometimes it just isn’t. Maybe it’s just a monetary investment. In this case, this really gets me going and we’re going to make it really fun and cool. I go to every university in the world. I think it’s going to be something very, very big.”assured “The Wolf of Wall Street”.
When Braghouse approached him through a mutual acquaintance, Belfort says he immediately realized the company’s potential and the unique opportunity he had to tap into a community with a true passion for competitive gaming, even if it isn’t. at an elite level.
“I don’t think you can find many better people to be a brand ambassador for this sport or company than myself.”concluded “El Lobo” enthusiastically.
