S&P Merval records third consecutive fall;  country risk rises and touches its record in 2 years

For its part, Argentine stocks operate disparate this Wednesday on Wall Street, with increases of up to 3% led by Free marketfollowed by Corporación América (+2.5%) and Despegar (+1.9%). Meanwhile, the decreases of up to 4.4% respond to Tenaris, Cresud (-3.1%) and Edenor (-3.1%).

This Wednesday Argentina faces the payment of US$1.8 billion before the International Monetary Fund (IMF) pending a first review of the domestic macro that would release the arrival of US$4,000 million.

Bonds and country risk

In the fixed income segment, on the other hand, dollar denominated bonds operate mixed after the drops of up to 2.4% in the previous day on the side of the bonares.

This Wednesday, the setbacks are led by the Global 2030 (-0.4%), Bonar 2030 (-0.4%) and Bonar 2029 (-0.2%). The exception is the Bonar 2038, which is up 0.1%. At the same time, the Bonar 2041 and Bonar 2035 operate stable.

Facing it, The Argentine country risk, prepared by the JP Morgan bank, rises 0.6% and marks a new record of 2,214 units since July 2020 months, before the debt swap with private parties.
