Solana launches a crypto cell phone: when does it arrive in Argentina

The cell phone will be developed in collaboration with former members of Essentials, a firm dedicated to manufacturing smartphones and created by Andy Rubin, the creator of Android.

The smartphone is considered high end and it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, it will have 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. One thing to keep in mind at this point: Solana’s leader previously worked at Qualcomm.

It is also expected that the Android cell phone has a main sensor from Sony, 50 megapixels and accompanied by a 12 MP wide angle. The front camera will be 16 MP.

The new device arises in line with the launches by cell phone companies that are directly compatible with the Blockchain. Samsung, for example, built crypto features into its Galaxy S20, coupled with a production system for private keys.
