Net income increased to $3.9 billion, or $1.86 per sharein the three months ended September 30, compared with $3.6 billion, or $1.65 per share, in the same period a year ago.

Chief Executive Officer Alfred Kelly Jr. noted that spending trends for the year have continued over the last three months: strength in consumer payments, resilience in e-commerce and recovery in international travel.
Kelly highlighted the good results “despite the macroeconomic uncertainty and the geopolitical crisis”, and expressed confidence that Visa will continue to grow in the long term.
