The companies that concentrated exports were: Shell Argentina (678 thousand barrels) that for the first time exported that volume, View Energy (500 thousand barrels), Pan American Energy (499 thousand barrels), Unconventional Hydrocarbons Company (439.5 thousand barrels) and Bandurria Sur Investments S.A. (251 thousand barrels) each.
Seven companies were the ones that made the exports, highlighting Tecpetrol (30%), Total Energies (24%), YPF (22%) and Pan American Energy (15%) between them.
Regarding the accumulated during the first nine months of 2022, oil exports reached 13.4 million barrels, 18.3% of the provincial production, which represented 1,250 million dollars. For the same period in 2021, it was much lower, as a total of 4.6 million barrels of oil worth 250 million dollars were shipped abroad.
In this way, the growth in terms of volume was 191% and 400% in dollars. Regarding the commercialization of gas for the same period of 2022, it accumulated 1,069 MMm3 exported, which meant 252 million dollars. Showing the recovery, post-pandemic, and development of the sector in the last year. Having exported 117 MMm3 in the same period of 2021, for a value of 15 million dollars, that is, a growth of 813% in volume and 1,580% in dollars.
In this way Provincial hydrocarbon exports accumulate US$1.5 billion in these first 9 months, an increase of 460% compared to 2021.
