After 21 raids carried out in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (AMBA) and in the Patagonian cities of Comodoro Rivadavia and Rio Gallegosmembers of the Argentine Federal Police (PFA) arrested four men and one woman.
Police spokesmen reported that, in the proceedings, ordered by the Federal Criminal and Correctional Judge 12, arielthe agents seized notebooks, cell phones, hard drives, 82,000 pesos in cash and documentation of interest to the cause.
According to the investigations, the company “Vayo Coin SA and others” used a scheme called Ponzi, similar to the one used by the firm Generation Zoeby which it attracted investors who were looking for a higher return on the market, and who actually financed the expenses of the organization.
In addition, they promised the sale of Bitcoin and Ethereum, among other recognized cryptocurrencies, and used advertisements made by celebrities, through stories and posts on their social networks, as a method of promotion. In this way, they managed to reach a greater number of potential customers.
