The liquidation of soybean exporters reached US$198.6 million this Tuesday and in two days it totaled US$491 million. In that context, the central bank (BCRA) once again bought a large sum of dollars at the end of the day with a positive balance of US$122 million in the official exchange market.
On Monday, the Government launched the reopening of the Export Increase Program (PIE), which establishes a differential exchange rate for the soybean complex of $230 per dollar, with which it aims to raise some $3,000 million until the December 31.
The reopening of the program, initially created by decree 576/2022 of last September 4, will be in force until the end of the year, in accordance with the provisions of the necessity and urgency decree (DNU) 787/2022. The program contemplates an update in the price of the dollar based on the evolution of inflation, taking as a reference the $200 that governed the first version implemented.
