BYMA’s S&P Merval Index it advanced 2.2%, to 168,701 pointsafter falling 3.6% during the previous week.
The leading panel of the Buenos Aires stock market operated with a positive trend, with the papers of Transportadora de Gas del Sur and YPF leading the improvements with 5.9% and 5.2%.
The operators expect that on Thursday the approval of the board of directors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on the third review of the agreement with the country, which would enable a new disbursement of the organism in favor of the reserves of the central bank (BCRA).
Meanwhile, the ADRs of Argentine companies on Wall Street traded with ups and downs, on a day in which Mercadolibre led the advances with an increase of 4.2% and Despegar presented the most pronounced decline (-4.9%).
Bonds and country risk
In the fixed income segment, the main bonds denominated in dollars are mixed at the beginning of the day. Among the increases, it stands out Bonar 2041 (+1.9%), while, on the side of losses, Global 2030 stands out (-0.5%).
Thus, the Argentine country risk, which is measured by JP Morgan, rose 0.2% to 2,175 basis points.
