Among the actions with the highest casualties, the BBVA bank (-7.4%); Banco Macro (-6.9%); Supervielle (-6.3%); and YPF (-5.5%).

On Wall Street, meanwhile, the papers of Argentine companies operate falls of up to more than 8%, led by Supervielle Group (-8.4%); BBVA bank (-8.1%); and IRSA (-7%).

“After the upward momentum that (local stocks) took in mid-December, prices entered a zone of indefiniteness,” said Mauro Natalucci from Rava Bursátil.

Bonds and country risk

In the fixed income segment, for its part, dollar-denominated bonds deepen their negative streak and lose up to almost 5%. The largest decreases are recorded by Bonar 2029 (-4.5%); Bonar 2030 (-4.1%); and Bonar 2030 (-4.1%).

Thus, the country risk measured by JPMorgan climbed 38 units to 2,087 basis points, the highest level since last January 6. This indicator returned to the line above 2,000 basis points the day before, for the first time since mid-January.
