Treasury Bills: Treasury Bills are short-term instruments issued by the National Treasury in order to obtain financing. In this sense, it is a good option to position yourself in the discount bill with maturity in April and June of this year, the S28A3 and S30J3 respectively. To date, the bill has a monthly yield of 6.7%, which should be above expected inflation in the coming months.
Investments that allow you to beat the dollar
To beat the financial dollar, the following alternatives appear:
– Telecom Negotiable Obligation (TLC5O): it matures in August 2025 and has an annual yield in dollars of 8.7% to date, exceeding US inflation.
– YPF Negotiable Obligation (YMCHO) maturing in 2026. In the latter case, it has the advantage that it can operate with amounts as low as USD 10, allowing access to an annual yield in dollars of 7.6%. In both cases, they can be purchased with pesos.
CEDEARs
The Research team also suggests in equities in the first place, the Google CEDEAR (GOOGL). This decision is determined by a sum of technical factors, and especially fundamental, since the technology company shows a low valuation compared to its earnings, both compared to other peers and its own historical average.
– Cedear of the ETF of the S&P500 Index (SPY): it is the oldest ETF listed in the US, being in turn one of the ETFs with the largest amount of assets under management and also has the largest volume of operations.
With a total of 505 assets under custody, the fund seeks to replicate the behavior of the S&P 500, one of the most important benchmark stock indices in the United States.
– CEDEAR of Mc Donald’s (MCD): it is one of the largest and most emblematic fast food companies worldwide. It currently serves approximately 68 million customers per day, in more than 36,000 establishments in different countries around the world.
– CEDEAR of Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B): it is a holding company that, together with its subsidiaries, invests in companies from various sectors, including insurance, public services, energy, transportation, manufacturing, retail trade and services. It is an investment company in which Warren Buffet, iconic investor, is the executive director and majority shareholder. Among its largest investments are: Apple, Bank Of America, Coca-Cola, American Express and Wells Fargo. Its exposure in the North American stock market is reflected in the fact that the asset has a Beta close to 1.
Mutual funds
– Variable Income Premier Investment Fund. This fund allows investors to position themselves in the shares of the main companies that are part of the Merval. In this way, it is possible for the investor to diversify his portfolio, positioning himself in a market like the Argentine one where most of the companies that comprise it have positive results and, especially, below their historical average value, a situation that makes it even more attractive.
