Among the most prominent and well-known virtual wallets, appears Mercado Pago and Orange X among the most used. According to Trascendo, the page that seeks to democratize and facilitate finance for all audiences, Naranja X leads with an annual return of 65%, while it is followed by Ualá, with 64.3%, and then Mercado Pago and Personal Play, with 63.4%.

But should you invest in digital wallets?

If one takes into account that a traditional fixed term pays 75% per year, we can say that in terms of performance they are not convenient since fixed term placements in a bank grant 10% more. However, while in a fixed term the money cannot be withdrawn for a period of less than 30 days, in virtual wallets the money can be withdrawn at any time and even add money without restrictions.

Today another option that is being used a lot, but that also does not provide a considerable return in relation to the fixed term, are the FCI Money Market. But these also retain the advantage of being able to withdraw the money when desired.

They are technically called immediate liquidity funds and, according to the Argentine Chamber of Investment Funds (Cafci), they are the ideal instruments to generate very short-term returns, with immediate liquidity and free of price fluctuations.

Most of them have an annual rate of between 65% and 66%, which is why they lose against inflation. However, as a very short-term instrument, it is a good option.
