ADRs flew up to 14.6% on Wall Street;  S&P Merval and bonds climbed up to 4%

Argentine shares flew up almost 15% this Tuesday, March 21, on Wall Street, in tune with the improvement registered in the world markets, before a easing of the banking crisis on the international sceneand waiting for Federal Reserve news on interest rates.

Under this scenario, Argentine papers recorded generalized increases, led by Edenor (+14.6%), followed by Despegar (+8.9%), BBVA (+8%), YPF (+7.6%), and Grupo Financiero Galicia (+7.5%).

In that framework, the porter bag ended with a rise of 3.5%, to 228,790.23 units in the hands of energy and financial papers, at the rate of a recomposition of Wall Street with Argentine ADRs.

The main increases were registered by the assets of Edenor (+11.2%), Supervielle (+7.9%), YPF (+6.4%), Grupo Financiero Galicia (+6.1%), and the bank BBVA (+5.8%).

“The main stock market indices in Latin America have been infected with optimism by the rise in shares in Europe and the United States, after the recovery of the global banking sector”said Alexander Lodoño of ActivTraders.

Bonds and country risk

In the fixed income segment, the sovereign bonds in dollars closed with gains of up to almost 4%headed by the Bonar 2041 (+3.8%), Global 2029 (+3.5%) and Bonar 2029 (+1.9%). So, the country risk drops 2.8% to 2,322 points.
