Shares climbed to more than 7% and the S&P Merval chained its eleventh rise in the last 12 days

BYMA’s S&P Merval index rose 2.9%, marking its 11th gain in the last 12 days.

In the Buenos Aires square, among the leading shares, the highest gains were recorded by Aluar (7.4%); Edenor (7.2%); Transportadora de Gas del Sur (6.4%); Transportadora de Gas del Norte (6.4%); and Central Puerto (4.7%).

The only two casualties corresponded to BYMA (-2%); and Grupo Supervielle (-0.7%).

“The slight sigh in the local market can be explained by the good mood reflected in the international market. By way of illustration, the EMB US Equity ETF increased by 0.3%”, they pointed out from PPI.

With a similar trend, on Wall Street the papers of Argentine firms closed the session with the majority of positive results, led by Tenaris (4.4%); Transportadora Gas del Sur (4.2%); Edenor (3%); Cresud (1.9%); and Pampa Energía (1.4%).

For their part, the decreases were recorded by Black Hill (-2%); Banco Supervielle (-1.7%); Take off (-0.7%); Free Market (-0.6%); and Globant (-0.05%).

Bonds and country risk

In the fixed income segment, bonds in dollars ended with increases of 20 cents on average along the curve, while bonds in pesos with CER adjustment marked falls of 0.2% on average.

In this frame, the low country risk for the third consecutive day, registering a fall of 0.6% to end at 2,619 basis points.
