The Cedears – Argentine Certificates of Deposit – trade with widespread losses on the Buenos Aires stock market before the meager performance of the main Wall Street indices a day before the inflation data for the United States is known. However there are some exceptions.
The first of these is Natura, the Brazilian company of beauty and personal care products, which climbs up to 13.5% in the Argentine market. The company said on Tuesday that it intends to accelerate the integration of its Natura and Avon brands in Latin America.
“The company is focusing on the integration of its distribution centers and manufacturing capabilities,” Chief Executive Fabio Barbosa said during a conference call with analysts. “That continues and will be even more important as we enter full integration towards the end of the year”he pointed.
Also noteworthy is the rise in Vista Energy (+2.8%)and Brazil Food (+1.5%).
For her part, the New York Stock Exchange is trading low waiting for the inflation data in the United States and the progress of the legislative negotiations on the United States debt limit between the Democratic government and the Republicans.
