Cryptocurrencies: Ripple achieved approval for payment license in Singapore

This license will allow Ripple offer regulated digital payment token products and services in the city-state and further scale its customers’ use of its cryptocurrency-enabled on-demand liquidity (ODL) service.

Ripple experienced unprecedented business growth in ODL globally in 2022 with the majority of it being driven by its operations in Singapore. In 2022, a good majority of global ODL transactions will pass through Singapore, where the company is based in the Asia-Pacific region.
