Global dividends rose to a record 8.1 billion

Worldwide dividends amounted to a record figure of 568.100 million Dollars in the second quarter, which reflects an increase of 4.9% in the general rate and on a global scale, 88% of companies it increased its distributions or kept them flat, according to an August report by asset manager Janus Capital Group.

The study is based on the Janus Henderson Global Dividend Index (JHGDI) is a long-term study on the trends presented by the dividends to world scale. It is a provider of telecommunications, media and technology services. The company offers wireless communications, data/broadband and Internet services, local and long distance telephone services, telecommunications equipment, managed networks and other wholesale services.

Walsgreens (WBA)

An integrated healthcare, pharmacy and retail company with a 170-year history. It has a presence in 9 countries, through its more than 13,000 stores of the different brands in its portfolio, distributed mainly in the United States, Europe and Latin America.

– Payments are in February, May, August and November for an amount of u$s0.48.

IBM

It is a provider of information technology (IT) products and services. The company manufactures and sells system hardware and software, and offers infrastructure, hosting, and consulting services.

Pfizer

It is one of the leading companies in the pharmaceutical industry worldwide. Currently, at the end of the second quarter of the fiscal year, it is estimated that more than 356 million patients have been treated with Pfizer medicines and vaccines.
