By means of a presidential decree, Javier Mileiaccepted the resignations of the three members who made up the Board of Directors of the National Securities Commission (CNV). Likewise, their replacements were appointed, who will have the responsibility of regulating the capital market.
The Decree states that Dr. Sebastián Negri, Mr. Jorge Berro Madero and Mr. Martín Alberto Breinligner in Economics presented their resignations from the positions of President, Vice President and Member of the Board of Directorsrespectively, of the capital market regulatory entity.
Consequently, the head of state, Milei, accepts the resignations and appoints the lawyer Roberto Emilio Silva and the lawyer Patricia Noemí Boedo in the positions of President and Vice Presidentrespectively, of the CNV.
The official text also indicates that the proposed officials “meet the suitability and experience requirements necessary to perform these positions.”

Roberto Silva is a renowned lawyer and leading expert in the capital markets, financing, trusts, banking law and exchange control. A recognized figure in the market.
Silva, as it turned out, is a partner in the prestigious Marval O’Farrell Mairal law firm and has been part of its board of directors since 1993 to date.
