As reported by the Ministry of Transportation, in the last 15 days, more than half a million people completed the SUBE card registration process to avoid having to pay double the fare established for public transportation as of April 1. of this year.
The truth is that registering the SUBE card will allow you to access the differentiated rate when the new rate table is applied, and also recover the balances in case the card is stolen, broken or lost.
According to the new fare table in force since yesterday, the bus ticket has a minimum value of $270 and, in the cases of people who access the Social Rate, the value is $121.50.
In this way, for those who do not have their data registered on the SUBE card, starting April 1, they will pay a minimum ticket of $430.
In relation to the railway system, the value was unified on all lines, establishing a fare table that, if paid with a SUBE card, is composed as follows: section 1: $30; section 2: $169; and section 3: $208.
In this case, those who do not have their data registered on the SUBE card must pay double the rate determined in each section starting next April 1.
