Argentine shares rise up to 6% on Wall Street and the S&P Merval soars in dollars

In this framework, Argentine papers show general increases, led by YPF (+5.5%); BBVA Bank (+5%); Supervielle Group (+4.9%); Loma Negra (+4.3%); and Grupo Financiero Galicia (+2.7%).

For its part, the S&P Merval of Argentine Stock Exchanges and Markets (BYMA) advances a 1.3% to 1,068,484 points, after the speech of Javier Milei in Congress last Friday in which he ratified the economic direction of his government plan.

Measured in dollars (CCL), this index climbs 4.7% to 1,013 points, given the fall in financial exchange rates.

In pesos, the actions of the leading panel climb up to more than 6%, with BYMA in the lead (+6.5%). The roles of Transportadora de Gas del Norte (+5%), Mirgor (+4.7%); BBVA Bank (+4%); and YPF (+3.3%).
