Finance specialists from different companies consider, for the most part, that the capital market Argentina will grow this year moderately and they expect that A large part of the investments in pesos go to fixed income.
This is reflected in a survey by the consulting firm D’Alessio Irol for the Argentine Institute of Finance Executives (IAEF) between the corporate finance managers on the prospects of the economy for 2024 revealed that the IAEF convened the 17th symposium on capital markets and finance.
Where will investments in pesos and dollars go according to the market
25% of the participants consider that the capital market will grow significantly until the end of the year, while the 43% believe that something will growfor 17% it will grow little and 15% bet that it will not grow.
On the other hand, 44% of those surveyed consider that investments in pesos will go towards variable incomewhile 22% consider that they will go towards the fixed term and 21% to the fixed income.
Meanwhile, with regard to the investments in dollars, 59% expect them to go to fixed income21% to variable income and 16% to fixed term.
Investment destination: what men and women expect
Differentiating responses by gender, 38% of women expect investments in pesos to go to equities, 24% expect the destination to be the fixed term and the same percentage opts for fixed income. While, In men, 47% expect them to go into equities21% consider that they will choose the fixed term and 20%, fixed income.
The vision for the dollar
Finally, according to the future vision of specialists regarding the price of the dollar, 44% of those surveyed expect it to rise moderatelyfor 31% it will remain stable, 16% say it will decrease moderately and for 4% it will increase considerably.
