He Wednesday, BYMA-Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos- held its seventh Shareholders’ Meeting, on second call. During the activity, central events took place, such as: presentation of management resultsthe financial statements ended on December 31, 2023, and the approval of two dividends to be paid in cash, one in dollars, another in pesos.

The Ordinary General Assembly of Shareholders approved the payment of two dividends, one of US$34,312,500 and another of $6,800,000 in cash to be distributed among shareholders starting next April 17.

“2023 ended with outstanding results in economic and financial terms that make tangible the evolution of BYMA but fundamentally of the Argentine Capital Market. Innovation and the incorporation of leading technology along with sustainability and financial education were our guiding principles. Among other notable initiatives, we were facilitators of entry into trading for all types and classes of investors with tool developments and connectivity improvements that allowed easy and efficient access to the arrangement of operations, increasing the trading volume,” said the President of BYMA. , Ernesto Allaria.

And he added: “We concluded a year that marked a turning point for what is to come. 2023 opened new and multiple development opportunities that at BYMA we will continue to capitalize on with work, commitment and projects.”

An increase in share capital was approved for the sum of $3,050,000,000, through the capitalization of the Capital Adjustment account, which raises the share capital to $3,812,500,000, with the consequent issuance of ordinary shares with 1 vote and par value $1 each, corresponding to 4 new shares for each one held which will be duly credited to the company’s shareholders once approval from the CNV is obtained.
