Universal Child Allowance: ANSES confirmed the amount for September 2024

Beneficiaries of the program will receive an increase in their salaries that will be in line with inflation in July. Find out how much the final amount was.

The national government has announced a series of increases that will affect retirees, pensioners, beneficiaries of the Universal Child Allowance (AUH) and family allowance holders. The increase will be 4.03%, in line with the current inflation rate.

If you are not yet part of the program but meet the requirements, you can do so easily through the ANSES website. You will have to complete the application on the website and make an appointment in person at an ANSES office.

Who can access the AUH in September 2024

This assignment is aimed at these groups of people:

  • Female employees.
  • That they collect through a Workers’ Compensation Insurance Company.
  • Self-employed workers.
  • Seasonal workers.
  • Rural workers.
  • That they collect unemployment benefits.
  • That they receive the Honorary Pension of War Veterans.
  • That they receive a Non-Contributory Disability Pension or transplant allowance.
  • Holders of pensions and retirement benefits.

Requirements to access the Universal Child Allowance from ANSES

  • Parents must be unemployed, or be unregistered workers (without contributions), or be domestic service workers.
  • Children must not have a job, be emancipated or receive any of the benefits provided for in the family allowance law.
  • Children and their parents must be Argentine and reside in the country. If they are foreigners or naturalized, they must have resided in the country for 2 years.
  • Children must undergo health checks and be vaccinated up to the age of 4. From the age of 5 to 18, in addition to health checks, children must prove that they attend public educational establishments.

ANSES AUH amount in September 2024

Beneficiaries of the Universal Child Allowance (AUH) will receive an amount of $84,275. For those who live in Zone 1 areas, the amount will be $109,558. This same amount will be applied to pregnancy allowances for social protection and those who have a child with a disability and are beneficiaries of the program will receive $274,422.
