A police and judicial investigation led to the arrest of “La Gorda Agus” and “Mauri”, the leaders of the gang that used “little soldiers” to guard the drug dealing shifts in the Beccar neighborhood.

They were known as “La Gorda Agus” and “Mauri”, they were in charge of selling narcotics in the area known as “La Cancha”, in the town of La Cava. After a two-month investigation, the drug dealing business that this criminal gang was carrying out in the town of Beccar, in the district of San Isidro, was dismantled. During the raids they seized cocaine, scales, cell phones and cash.
“Thanks to the joint work with the police and the justice system, we were able to dismantle this gang that operated in the La Cava neighborhood. This action is in favor of the good neighbors so that they can leave their homes in peace. Today, this gang is going to jail because those who commit it pay for it,” said the local mayor, Ramón Lanús.
The investigation began in July, when police personnel were alerted through a 911 call about the sale of drugs in at least two homes near the court in the interior of the neighborhood with access through Madame Curié and Intendente Neyer streets.
Within this structure were the “little soldiers” who guarded the drug storage areas and the dealers, and the “satellites” who alerted about the presence of strangers.
The detectives carried out field work and with the assistance of technology they discovered the marketing maneuvers, also managing to identify the members and the two locations to be raided.
During the procedures, they managed to arrest the leaders of the gang “La Gorda Agus” and “Mauri”, and found nylon packages in which there were compact pieces of cocaine, two scales, cell phones and cash.
