The FX series of Noah Hawley, “Alien: Earth”revealed the show’s synopsis and released a trailer (above) that was pre-screened for a limited group of lucky viewers who watched Alien: Romulus.

The quick clip shows an angry, feral xenomorph with sharp, dark teeth and lips dripping with slime. Is that really slime or could it be blood? You’ll find out in 2025 when the series premieres on Hulu in the US and Disney+ in the rest of the world.


What is “Alien: Earth” about?
When a mysterious spaceship crashes on Earth, a young girl (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face to face with the greatest threat on the planet.

FX boss John Landgraf has previously described the show as a “big, imaginative reimagining” of the Alien franchise and compared it to Hawley’s work on the FX hit FargoHe also confirmed that the show is “designed to be an ongoing series.”
