F1: Franco Colapinto went off track and crashed in Baku tests

The Argentine pilot Franco Colapinto was involved in an accident in the first free practice of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, which led to a red flag halt in the Baku street circuit.

Colapinto lost control of his Williams FW46 upon reaching turn four of the street layout of Baku and hit the left side of the car, causing considerable damage.

Verstappen leads the first free practice session at the Azerbaijan GP

The Dutch pilot Max Verstappen with Red Bullwas the fastest in the first practice for the Azerbaijan GP of the Formula 1followed by Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) and Sergio Perez (Red Bull).

The Dutchman turned in 1m45s546 and took first place with the checkered flag already in the air, relegating Hamilton by 0s313. While Perez finished in third position after reaching a lap of 1m45s922 in closing.
