TACC-free bread recipe
This recipe makes approximately 8 portions of breadand it will take you approximately an hour and a half.
Ingredients
- 300 g gluten-free flour (mixture of rice, corn and potato starch).
- 1 envelope of gluten-free dry yeast (10 grams).
- 1 teaspoon of sugar.
- 1 teaspoon salt.
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
- 250 ml of warm water.
Preparation
- In a large bowl, mix the gluten-free flour with the salt.
- Dissolve the sugar and dry yeast in the warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foam forms, indicating that the yeast is active.
- Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and add the yeast mixture along with the olive oil.
- Mix everything together with a spatula or wooden spoon until you get a smooth dough. If necessary, you can add a little more water to achieve the right consistency.
- Knead the dough in the bowl or on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let it rest in a warm place for 1 hour or until the dough has doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C. Place the dough in a lightly greased loaf pan and stretch it out with your hands.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the bread is golden and sounds hollow when tapped lightly on the bottom.
- Allow to cool on a rack before cutting and serving.
