Pope Francis invited Sandra Pettovello to meet in Rome

The Minister of Human Capital will travel to Rome this Sunday. The meeting was arranged some time ago but had to be postponed until the Pope’s return to the Vatican.

Summoned by Pope Francis, the Minister of Human Capital, Sandra Pettovello will travel to Rome this Sunday to meet with the Supreme Pontiff, as he was able to confirm Scope in the fountains of the Casa Rosada.

The meeting was arranged some time ago, but had to be postponed until the return of Jorge Bergoglio to the Vatican after his twelve-day tour of Asia and Oceania.

As soon as the intention of the Supreme Pontiff to have a private audience with Pettovello became known, the minister informed the president. Javier Milei who did not hesitate to give his approval for the meeting, according to official sources.

Pettovello sends periodic reports on the social situation to the Holy Father to keep him informed of the social policies carried out by the Government and those closely followed by the Vatican.

Although they had met before, Pettovello and Francis have not yet had a private meeting. The head of Human Resources met the Pope on February 14 in Italy, together with other ministers, after the meeting of more than an hour that the supreme pontiff had alone with Milei. The last meeting of a representative of the Argentine government with Bergoglio was on June 14, when the president greeted the Pope in the framework of the G7 leaders’ summit in Puglia, Italy.

The meeting with Pettovello is scheduled for next Monday or Tuesday. Before that, on Monday morning, Francis will receive a delegation from the CGT composed, among others, of.
