Following the success of the first season of the series, new episodes starring Delfina Chaves and Dutch actor Martijn Lakemeier are beginning to be filmed.
Maximathe Max Original series that landed on the streaming platform Max In August, its second season has already been confirmed and will also have six episodes.
The series, developed by Millstreet Films in co-production with FBO and Beta Film and directed by Saskia Diesing, Joosje Duk and Iván López Núñez, follows the fascinating life of Maxima Zorreguieta from her roots in Argentina to her rise to European nobility. The second season will continue with the love story that led Máxima to the Dutch crown, and the different events she experienced along the way with Prince Willem-Alexander.
What is the first season of Maxima about?
Inspired by the novel “Máxima Zorreguieta, Madre Patria” by Dutch journalist Marcia Luyten, the first season of Máxima is about the beginnings of the love story and its “B side”: the obstacles and complexities she went through to adapt to this new life, and the impact that this transformation generated in her closest circle.
Maxima, starring Delfina Chaves (Maximum) and Martijn Lakemeier (Guillermo) has had a very good performance on Max and all the episodes of his first season are now available.
