Non-contributory disability pension

• Applicants must be Argentine, either by birth or naturalization, and reside in the country. If they are foreigners, they must prove a minimum of 10 continuous years of residence in Argentina. For applicants who are minors, parents or guardians will be required to prove a minimum of 3 years of residence in the country.
• You must be under 65 years old.
• No other retirement or pension should be received.
• If the applicant is a minor, the family group’s income will be evaluated, and the income of the parents or guardians must not exceed the amount of four minimum pensions.
• If you live in Santiago del Estero, Santa Cruz, San Luis, La Pampa, Neuquén or Tierra del Fuego, in addition to the Mandatory Medical Certificate (CMO), a cadastral report must be submitted in the name of the applicant or his/her spouse/partner. In the case of minors under 18 years of age, it must be in the name of the parents or guardians.

Non-contributory pension for mother of 7 children

• You must be Argentine or naturalized, with at least one year of residence in the country.
• If you are a foreigner, it is necessary to have lived in Argentina for a minimum of 15 years.
• You cannot be a beneficiary of a retirement, pension or withdrawal, whether contributory or non-contributory, granted by any pension scheme.
• You must not be receiving Family Allowance for Children, Universal Allowance for Children or Pregnancy Allowance.
• You must not have assets, income or resources that ensure your subsistence or that of your family group, nor have relatives obliged to provide you with food.
• Your spouse or partner may receive a pension benefit, but not a non-contributory old-age or disability pension.
• In the event of death, the pension may be received by the widow or incapacitated partner, or by minor or disabled children, without age limit.

Non-contributory old-age pension

• You must be 70 years of age or older.
• If you are a native or naturalized Argentine, you must reside in the country. Naturalized citizens must have lived in Argentina for at least 5 years before applying for the pension.
• For foreigners, it is a requirement to have resided in the country for a minimum of 40 years before applying.
• Neither the applicant nor his/her spouse must be receiving a retirement, pension or retirement, whether contributory or non-contributory.
• They must not possess assets, income or resources that ensure their subsistence or that of their cohabiting family group, nor have relatives obliged to provide them with food.
• The applicant must not be in custody under judicial order.
• In the case of married couples, only one of the spouses can apply for the old-age pension.
• If the applicant leaves the country permanently, he or she will lose the right to the pension from the moment the situation becomes known.
