Jesse Plemons, Cristin Milioti, Jimmi Simpson and Michaela Coel starred in the original episode that aired as the first episode of season 4.
The cast of Netflix’s Black Mirror season 7 includes Awkwafina, Milanka Brooks, Peter Capaldi, Emma Corrin, Patsy Ferran, Paul Giamatti, Lewis Gribben, Osy Ikhile, Rashida Jones, Siena Kelly, Billy Magnussen, Rosy McEwen, Cristin Milioti, Chris O’Dowd, Issa Rae, Paul G. Follows Daly (Plemons), a reclusive but talented programmer and co-founder of a popular massively multiplayer online game who resents the lack of recognition of his position from his coworkers. Telling a story that evokes themes of fragile masculinity and the dangers of technology, Daly takes out his frustrations by simulating a Star Trek-style space adventure within the game, using his coworkers’ DNA to create sentient digital clones of them – with terrifying consequences.
“The USS Callister will return… Robert Daly is dead, but for the crew of the USS Callister, the troubles are just beginning”reads a trailer released by Netflix at an event in London in March.
