“We trust that justice will act firmly and staunchly in defense of those who have been affected by the actions of unscrupulous businessmen,” says the text released by the 73 members of the trusteeship of creditors.

The 73 members of the agrarian creditors trust of Vincentin They issued a harsh statement this Monday in which They “strongly” rejected an attempt by “certain sectors” to pressure the Supreme Court of Justice of the Provinceto obtain “a prompt pronouncement” aimed at “approve the bankruptcy proposal” of the agro-exporterwhich – they explained – was flatly rejected by the trial judge.

Under the title “Let justice act independently and not allow a new robbery” the creditors, who hold approximately 30% of the credits in the category, pointed to “commercial sectors of the city of Avellaneda, employees linked to the shareholder families, some members of the political spectrum, as well as institutions with known participation of members of the bankrupt company.”

“From the position of victims that we must occupy, we are very sorry that there are still a few actors who adopt such a position, and we have no doubt that the cause lies in common economic interests with the accused, or in the misinformation to which we are accustomed by the orchestrators of the largest economic default in the history of our province,” they indicated in the text.

In addition, they maintained that they had no doubt that those who spoke before the Supreme Provincial Court “are interested parties or have been manipulated by those responsible for this “long agony that we have been suffering in order to pressure the members of the Court, and thus consolidate their criminal act, deepen it with an illegal debt reduction and finally, favor the dismantling of the largest Argentine agro-exporter of capital.”

In this sense, they highlighted that those who represent the majority of grain creditors and national banks (Commodities and the Bank of the Argentine Nation (BNA), BICE and the Bank of the Province of Buenos Aires (BAPRO)), “have been waging an epic legal battle to avoid a new embezzlement with “you write off more than 80% of your credits, and to obtain an exemplary sentence in criminal justice.”

“It is important to remember that the former directors and shareholders of Vicentin are currently accused for the commission of crimes and with sentences requested by the Prosecutor’s Office that arrive up to 17 years in prison“This situation cannot be ignored, and any attempt to interfere in the course of the process to benefit those who have caused so much damage not only to creditors but to society as a whole must be firmly rejected,” they added in the statement.

Finally, they called on the courts “not to endorse or consolidate the mega scam perpetrated by Vicentin and its directors”, a situation that they consider “has been causing deep harm and agony to the real victims of the bankruptcy process for more than 5 years.”

“We trust that justice will act firmly and staunchly in defense of those who have been affected by the actions of unscrupulous businessmen who seek a new reduction from creditors and to validate the largest economic crime ever recorded in the province,” they concluded.
